Privacy Policy

adfez is a personal running analytics dashboard. Your training data is private by default. adfez only uses connected activity and recovery data to generate insights for your own account. We do not sell user data and we do not display one user's private activity data to another user.

• Account data: email and authentication identifiers used to sign you in.
• Profile data: values you enter such as goals, target distance, max HR, body weight.
• Activity data: runs and other activities you sync from Strava or log manually (distance, duration, pace, heart rate, GPS streams, splits).
• Recovery / wellness data: Garmin-imported metrics (sleep, HRV, resting HR, readiness) and values you log manually (RPE, soreness, stress).
• Weather/location context: approximate weather conditions for runs to calculate heat impact.
• Fueling and planning data: meals, foods, planned sessions you record in adfez.

To calculate training load, fitness, fatigue, form, recovery context, heat-adjusted pace, race predictions, and other dashboard insights for your account only.

Data is stored in a managed database protected by row-level security so that your records are only readable by your authenticated session (or by privileged server-side functions acting on your behalf). API keys and integration secrets are stored server-side and never shipped to the browser.

• Strava: if you connect Strava, adfez requests read access to your activities through Strava's OAuth flow. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which revokes adfez's access.
• Garmin: Garmin data may be imported manually because Garmin does not provide an open consumer API. Imported Garmin data is used only for your own dashboard.
• Weather providers: public weather APIs are used to enrich runs with conditions.

adfez may use AI models to generate plain-English explanations of your training. AI receives only the minimum verified data needed to write the summary. AI is not used to calculate core metrics, and adfez does not train AI models on your personal data.
